10 things to do with a medicine ball
Having a medicine ball with handles can be a great workout companion. Try this All over body workout.
10 reps for each and only 10 secs rest in between to make it a great circuit. Then, if you are going to kill another round, have a minute or two recovery, depending on your fitness level.
I managed to do 4 rounds using a 5kg,6kg,7kg,8kg ball respectively. Have a go a see how you get on! Remember you don't have to do all of it and you can start with a very light ball. But something is always better than nothing. We all start from somewhere.
1. Front squats
2. Walking lunges with a Russian twist
3. Straight leg Deadlift to shoulder Press
5. Get ups
6. Alternating bridges
7. Good mornings
8. Chest press sit up to lying leg raise
9. Front shoulder raises
10. Tricep overhead press
To finish off walk on the treadmill at 15% incline for 20mins with long strides.
(Alternatively hill walk outside :-maybe on your way home)
